Administration and Finance (A&F) is excited to launch the Everyday Excellence Recognition Program, designed to highlight A&F staff who go above and beyond in their daily work. This program celebrates the meaningful contributions that reflect Georgia Tech’s values – whether through excellent service, collaboration, innovation, or actions that make a lasting, positive impact on our community.

Nominations will be reviewed by the A&F Staff Culture Advisory Council, and honorees will be recognized at upcoming A&F Connects events and featured in the A&F News.

Please take a moment to nominate an A&F colleague and help us recognize and celebrate colleagues who bring excellence to their work every day. 

Nominees should demonstrate one or more of the following:
 

  1. Customer Service Excellence
    • Provides outstanding service to colleagues, students, or external partners.
    • Anticipates needs and goes above and beyond expectations.
  2. Collaboration and Partnership
    • Builds positive working relationships across units or teams.
    • Demonstrates teamwork that strengthens A&F and the broader Georgia Tech community.
  3. Innovation and Problem-Solving
    • Introduces creative, efficient, or effective solutions to challenges.
    • Improves processes, systems, or services in a way that makes a clear difference.
  4. Positive Campus Impact
    • Enhances the experience, culture, or environment for others.
    • Contributes meaningfully to institutional priorities or community well-being.
  5. Consistent Reliability and Professionalism
    • Demonstrates exceptional commitment to quality and accountability in day-to-day work.
    • Models behaviors that build trust and uphold Georgia Tech values.

Eligibility Requirements 

  • Employee has been with Georgia Tech for at least one year.
  • Employee is in good performance standing.
  • Recognition is primarily intended for staff below the director level.
  • Nomination must include concrete examples of contributions.
