As a public research university, Georgia Tech is a steward of taxpayer dollars, research funding, and tuition paid by students and their families.

Fraud and acts of unethical behavior not only damage the Institute’s reputation, but they deplete resources that could be used to fund programs and positions necessary for performing our jobs more effectively and advancing the Institute’s strategic goals, each member of the Georgia Tech community must ensure that Institute resources are used responsibly.

The Institute maintains a laser focus on upholding and promoting an ethical culture at Georgia Tech. This consists for several offices and their respective initiatives that are responsible for implementing policies and procedures campus wide to help ensure ethical behavior and mitigate risk at Tech.
