This year, GTHR has partnered with SchoolKitz.com to offer pre-packaged supply kits. This will streamline the donation process and make sure all backpacks are filled uniformly. The deadline to order supplies from SchoolKitz is Tuesday, June 7.

Georgia Tech Human Resources (GTHR) has kicked off its annual Buzzin’ Back to School Backpack Drive!  

This annual school supply drive benefits Georgia Tech employees who need support equipping their children in grades K-12 with school supplies.

This year, GTHR has partnered again with SchoolKitz.com to offer pre-packaged supply kits. This will streamline the donation process and make sure all backpacks are filled uniformly. Each school kit purchased sponsors one child.

If you would like to sponsor a child(ren), the deadline to order supplies from SchoolKitz is Tuesday, June 7. If you would like to request a backpack(s), the deadline is Friday, June 10. 

Need a backpack? 

  • The deadline to request a backpack is Friday, June 10.
  • Backpacks will be distributed on Wednesday, July 13 and Thursday, July 14.
