Biannual Compliance Training opens for all Georgia Tech employees on Aug. 25.

The 2025 Fall Biannual Compliance Training will help Georgia Tech employees understand and uphold the University System of Georgia (USG) and the Institute’s policies and compliance obligations.  

“Training plays an important role in a well-rounded and effective compliance program. The active participation of our employees demonstrates a commitment to ethics and compliance across the Institute,” said Danette Joslyn-Gaul, general counsel and vice president for Ethics, Compliance, and Legal Affairs. 

All faculty, staff, and students who are active employees as of Aug. 1 will be required to complete the 2025 Fall Biannual Compliance Training by 11:59 p.m. EDT on Friday, Sept. 12. The training will be available at b.gatech.edu/genius beginning Aug. 25 and will take approximately 90 minutes to complete. 

The two-part training includes:

Part 1: 2025 Fall Biannual Compliance Training

  • University System of Georgia Ethics Refresher
  • Ethics in Action at Georgia Tech (includes Conflict of Interest attestation)
  • Controlled Unclassified Information Overview

Part 2: 2025 Fall Biannual Compliance Training – Common Threats

Training can be completed on a desktop or laptop and does not need to be finished at one time. Employees who do not complete the training by the deadline may face disciplinary action by the Institute.
